In Stereo

Jesus Volt's musical world could march behind the New Rock Blues banner. Proudly showing the outrageous sounds of the 70's, drawing their inspiration from the blues of Chess time, taking what is hottest from the Stax label, they produce a dirty and urban sound which RL Burnside, John Campbell or John Spencer Bues Explosion would not disavow. Jesus Volt under this label appear as a combo, a real melting pot like their music.

The funk groove indomitable rhythms are created by enigmatic Lenine Mac Donald with his electro-bass fretless and by rasta Magic Doudous's simple drum kit. Mr Clit Tao who is a particularly gifted musician and willingly admits he was influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rory Gallagher, Billy Gibbons, is wonderful with his "cheap" electro guitar. We can't forget Lord Tracy without whom Jesus Volt would not be what they really are; the singer und leader of the group he is a languid, tense dandy who reminds us of sulphurous Jim Morrison or an acid laden Iggy Pop. With his low and full voice he contributes to giving the Jesus a place apart on the Rock Blues scene.

More than 200 gigs does this messianic group counts whose mission is exploding the stage they share with the greatest (Alvin Lee, Big Bill Morganfield, Little Bob, Elliot Murphy, André Williams, Magic Slim, Nine Bellow Zero, Pretty Things, Doctor Feelgood, Deborah Coleman, Imperial Crowns …). This leads them to scouring Europe and getting full acknowledgement.

The first important step in their in their itinerary was "Always Drunk Never Sad", a 2000 album under the label Outside Records which was greeted with cheers by the specialised press. In 2003 "Electro Button Funky CoXXX" will come out and be available on august 29th under the label Nocturne, thanks to their meeting with Belgian Jean Marie Aerts (Arnow, Beverly Jo Scott, Urban Dance Squad), consecreated as the best producer of 2003. This talented producer will make them go further beyond their musical limits by adding a touch of electro and funk.

The Booking Agent Tourwork makes it possible to bring the Band 2005 in the Rockpalast TV Show with Joe Bonamassa, and Radio recording from DLF. That was a big step not only in the German market. This year 2006, with the New CD “In Stereo” on many Festivals with Bonamassa, Johnny Winter and many more.

That’s what the new Scene Need. Jesus Volt.
